Employees & Ex-employees of companies that subscribe to telecommunication services in Jamaica.
Employees & Ex-employees of National Water Commission, ICD Group of companies, Celebration Brand and its Subsidiaries, and Cable & Wireless and Contractors.
Persons living or working in Clarendon, St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland.
Individuals recommended for membership by other members who live or work within a 25km radius of the Credit Union’s office and who are not being served by any other credit union (speak to your Branch Manager).

Ensure you have all supporting documents and identification as outlined in the requirements section below.
Please take it to any branch closest to you. A customer service representative will assist you in completing the process, after which you will be provided with your member number.
Requirements
Official valid picture identification: Driver’s License, Elector Registration ID card (National ID), or Passport
Tax Registration Number
Completed Member Application Form
Completed Beneficiary Nominee (Nomination Form)
Completed Member Privacy and Consent Form
Completed Politically Exposed Person (P.E.P) Declaration for Individuals
Staff or Members of the Credit Union in good standing;
Justice of the Peace (must bear embossed seal);
Minister of Religion (must bear stamp);
Employer;
Other prominent professionals known to the applicant (e.g. Teacher, Doctors, Lawyers, Credit Union Managers, Civil Servants, etc.);
Proof of Address (any one of the following):
Current utility bill or Postmarked envelope (not more than 3 months old) with the applicant’s name and permanent address;
Current credit card statement (no more than 3 months old), Government property tax receipt (not more than 1 year old) duly stamped by the Collectorate.
Job letter stating salary or last salary advice (monthly, fortnightly – 4, weekly – 8)
Minimum amount for opening is J$3,000.00.
When you join C&WJCU through a particular company, you remain a Member, even if you change employment. However, you must have a minimum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) in your Member Qualification Share Account to retain membership. We encourage you to keep your account active by doing regular transactions in your Ordinary Share account.
