Scholarships

Desmond Duval Scholarship:

Eligible Applicants: Students (1st, 2nd, 3rd year undergraduate) pursuing a first degree in Information Technology, Management or Finance at an approved Tertiary Institution in Jamaica. Value: $200,000.00 for one (1) year.

Please complete the Desmond Duval Scholarship Application Form below, and submit it on or before September 30, 2024.  

Ertis Blake Tertiary Scholarship:

Eligible Applicants: Students commencing a first degree (general) programme at an approved Tertiary Institution in Jamaica. Value: $200,000.00 per year over three (3) years.

Please complete the Ertis Blake Tertiary Scholarship Application Form below, and submit it on or before September 30, 2024.  

F.T. Spence Memorial Scholarship:

Eligible Applicants: Students commencing a first degree in Accounting or Management at an approved Tertiary Institution in Jamaica. Value: $200,000.00 per year over (3) years.

Please complete the F.T. Spence Memorial Scholarship Application Form below, and submit it on or before September 30, 2024.  

Leslie Mills Trust County Scholarship:

Eligible Applicants: Students pursuing CAPE studies commencing September 2024 at an approved Secondary Institution or equivalent in Jamaica. Value: Three (3) Scholarships, one (1) per County (Cornwall, Middlesex & Surrey) $50,000.00 per year, payable over 2 years.

High School Assistance Programme

The applicant should be a successful Primary Exit Profile (PEP) student or current student at a high school in Jamaica up to 5th Form/Grade 11.  

Other requirements:

  1. Parents and/or students must be members of the Credit Union for at least 6 months
  2. Preliminary PEP Scores or a copy of the school report from the just concluded school year.
  3. Picture of the student
  4. A 100-word summary of the three main reasons that you should be awarded this bursary (To be written by the student)
  5. Application forms must be submitted to your branch.  The final date for submission of the completed application Form is Monday, August 12, 2024.
